I researched suitable human anthropometric measurements to identify the most comfortable seating position for a lounger. The goal was to create a design where one person can lean back comfortably while still being able to engage in eye-to-eye conversations with another person sitting in a separate lounger. I also considered the construction limitations of inflatables and aimed to keep the design at a very low zero-point cost (ZPC). Additionally, I focused on selecting color palettes that would enhance both interior and exterior home decor, while adhering to a limited range of material swatches.

When working with flexible material like pvc, it's important to consider the angles since they can be overinflated or underinflated. This may lead to inaccurate angles when viewing samples in photos provided by our Shanghai counterparts. However, once I had the samples in person, it became much easier to test with people and identify the optimal settings.
